Position: Program Manager
Organization: TAAL+ IHC CP, Network of Maharashtra by People Living with HIV/AIDS (NMP+)
Project: Improving Access to Affordable HIV Medicines and Quality Healthcare Service Delivery for PLHIV Through a Market-Based Model (Supported by FHI 360)
Reporting To: Chief Functionary of TAAL + IHC and CP
 

Project Overview:
The project focuses on improving access to affordable HIV medicines and quality healthcare services for people living with HIV (PLHIV) through a market-based model. It aims to enhance TAAL+’s reach by increasing the customer base and addressing other health conditions affecting PLHIV, such as tuberculosis (TB), Hepatitis B & C, and cancer. A significant component of the initiative is the development of a website and e-commerce platform to expand the reach pan-India and achieve a client base of 2,000 by the end of the first year.

 
Key Responsibilities
Project Implementation & Coordination:

• Oversee the implementation of the project and coordinate with FHI 360 on all program-related matters.
• Ensure that project goals and timelines are met effectively.

Operational Management:

• Manage all functions of the TAAL+ enterprise, including internal administration.
• Establish and maintain efficient systems and processes for smooth workflow and operations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships:

• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to secure profitable partnerships.
• Strategize and set clear goals and objectives for the growth and sustainability of the social enterprise.

Travel & Fieldwork:

• Be available to travel for 10-12 days per month to fulfill program requirements and attend stakeholder meetings or events.

Qualifications & Skills Required
Educational Background:
Degree in public health, healthcare management, or related fields.
 
Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in program management, preferably in the HIV/AIDS or healthcare sector.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and team management.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication, partnership development, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in setting up operational systems and overseeing e-commerce or online platforms is a plus.

Termination Clause:
Either party can terminate the contract with one month’s notice or pay in lieu thereof. Immediate termination is applicable in cases of misconduct, breach of confidentiality, or project discontinuation by FHI 360.
 
Work Conditions

• The position requires flexibility in work hours, including early arrivals, late hours, and work on holidays as needed.
• Headquarters will be based at NMP+ Pune, 401, Ganga Prestige Arcade, Nana Peth, Pune – 411002.
